The exhibition project "Ark. An Anthology of Senses".
The project united 13 artists. The creative fate of each of them is imbued with various milestones of Ukrainian history, and even cultural codes and peculiarities of different regions of Ukraine. But each of the authors, in one way or another, in his own way concentrated in his works the most important constants, fundamental and unifying for the Ukrainian identity: the memory of generations, the sanctity of the family, a woman-mother, a fertile land, an icon-talisman, a victorious battle, rite, embroidery... Ukrainian art strengthens and heals in the brutal circumstances of the Russian-Ukrainian war, is fundamental for the restoration of Ukraine in the future. But it is not fixated on itself, it is not limited exclusively by the framework of one's own identity. Authors presented in "Kovchez" — Vera Kuleba-Barynova, Ihor Romanko, Maryan Luniv, Mykola Zhulinskyi, Oleksandr Melnyk, Inna Pantelemonova, Oleksiy Potapenko, Andriy Kotlyarchuk, Petro Bevza, Oleg Minko, Yuriy Myrko, Petro Antip, Mykola Bilyk — in a way, they go beyond the boundaries of the purely national in order to understand the universal: being and non-being, human memory and forgetting, the connection with the world cultural heritage, nature and the Universe.
The exhibition project was implemented with the support of the Lviv Regional Military Administration. The partners of the event are the international company ONUR GROUP Ukraine and the Turkish-Ukrainian business association TUID.
